BIOALB CO is an Albanian initiative to promote our natural wild-growing plants, specialized in the collection of aromatic and medicinal herbs. Nature has given Albania a huge variety of wild medicinal herbs ,aromatic plants and spices . Albania’s natural treasures, wild plants and medicinal herbs found in huge quantities in fields and mountains. Traditionally Albania exports unprocessed dried herbs in bulk, which are usually treated and re-packaged abroad. These processed wild plants are then used in the food industry for herbal teas, as additives in food preparations, sold in markets in form of edible spices, extracted for essential oils or used in beverage industry, healthcare, cosmetics and perfumes. Albania’s main prides are Sage, Juniper, Oregano, Thyme, Cornflower, Savory , which are exported in huge quantities abroad.During these last ten years, with increasing demand for Albanian products in international markets, the sector has grown both in size and quality. Albanian companies, suppliers of these products to international markets have strengthened their position in international markets, have gained experience and have created a strong network of connections.
