Tirana Communication was established in 2003 and has provided satellite and terrestrial communication services for the interconnection of various banks between their headquarters and their branches in Tirana and other districts. The communication systems used for this purpose have been the satellite system V-Sat, which has been successfully implemented and has functioned for many years at one of the most prestigious Albanian private banks, and terrestrial connection MAN (Metropol Area Network). During the installation of the V-Sat system at some important clients in Albania, there has been a successful cooperation with the German companies. On the other hand, regarding the terrestrial system, our company has operated effectively in various connections set up for its clients in Tirana, the majority of which consist of different private banks. The connections have resulted to be more efficient, stable and much cheaper than our competitors. Tirana Communication has also worked towards building various satellite and terrestrial television systems for its clients in the hotel-tourism sector. Tirana Communication is the only Albanian company which operates also in the field of installation and management of teletext systems. We have installed and still maintain 90% of teletext systems of all prestigious Albanian television channels.
