New Vision Organisation

New Vision Organisation is located in Tirana, Albania on Rruga Xhemal Tafaj Ap. 27. New Vision Organisation is rated 3 out of 5 in the category nonprofit organization management in Albania. New Vision was initially launched under the steps of a youth group called URN (Unity Youth for Change) a move that took place in the outskirts of Tirana (Paskuqan) with youth problems faced in this area and in the context of the difficult economic social and where they lived.The first activities of this movement founded by a group of high school students were launched in September 2011 where the main focus was to create different awareness campaigns against violence against children,the campaign against violence on women and various charity activities to help children and youth in need.The main goal of this group was to provide support to these young people and their integration in social life.In December 2012 it was decided by its members, that the functioning of this informal structure not to remain in the framework of the movement but to create a formal structure with legal form under the name New Vision Association, where given the possibility of extending all initiatives at local and national level. Main activities that New Vision has done during years are: · In 2015 its experts wrote the first draft-law on voluntarism in Albania which was approved in the Parliament. · Every year we implement the campaign “I am a volunteer” where we do different activities on different topics helping people and children in need and also supporting different organisations with volunteers. Every year we give the award of the Best Volunteer of the year and the last year we had the support of the Parliament and Ministry to give this award. · The campaign “Every day with children” where our volunteers practice volunteering in the institutes of children with disability, orphans and residence centres of elder people. · We are part of Hate Fighters Network supported by EYF and CoE. · New Vision organized the “Karl Popper debate” between elementary schools of Albania. · Actually we are developing two projects from European commission.
